- Your role (Parent or Athlete)

Twilio
We use Twilio to send text messages (SMS) to users who have opted in to receive them. Your name and phone number may be transmitted to Twilio solely for the purpose of delivering these messages. Resend
We use Resend to send transactional and informational emails. Your name and email address may be transmitted to Resend solely for the purpose of delivering these messages. Resend’s privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy, available at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
We may also disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Open Gym, our users, or the public.
4. Text Message Communications (SMS)
Text messaging is entirely optional. If you opt in during registration, you consent to receive SMS messages from Open Gym regarding events, updates, and announcements.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us, or by contacting us directly. Opting out will not affect your ability to use the platform.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing and are never stored in plain text.

Open Gym is designed for use by parents and athletes. Athlete accounts associated with minors are created and managed by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for providing accurate information and consenting on their child’s behalf.
